The Story of
Ugly Dog Books

Once upon a time there was a little girl. This little girl loved words. She loved to read and write. As years went by, the passion for sharing her love of books and words grew.

The girl - now full grown - feels she wants to share her love of words with others. “ I know, "she thinks. "I will create a place for people where they can read and write and shop.”

Ugly Dog Books opened its doors on September 6th, 2011.

  What are Ugly Dog events all about?????
 
 Book Clubs
The book club at Ugly Dog Books in Attleboro MAThanks to our friend Oprah, book clubs are a fun way to spend an evening. 
I will choose a book for book club. On the third Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, we will talk together about the book.
I'll supply lite snacks and drinks.
At the end of each night a new book will be decided for the upcoming month.

 Writing Workshops
Do you journal? Do you love to put your pen to paper? Are you curious on how to start writing?
These workshops will be relaxed and fun. They will be a place where you can come and explore the art of writing.
On the second Thursday of every month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  Bring your pen and a notebook.

 Writing Nights
Do you enjoy writing? Do you love being around other writers? Come join me for "write" nights.
The first Thursday of every month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Reading time with Kim at Ugly Dog Books in Attleboro MA
Relax, Imagine, Create.

 Open Mic Nights
Dates to be determined
First one, Sunday October 30th.
Come read your prose in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Goodies and drinks will be available as you sit and listen to fellow writers share their work. (sign up sheet at front desk)

 Story Times
Does not matter how young or old...come join me Wednesday mornings (starting in October) at 9:30am for a lovely story.
Most mornings,  a craft to follow. :)
